I am a older girl and lived in a apt with dad and he got sick and could not care for me anymore.  I am currently living with other small dogs and have not been around cats. I did meet one and didn't care. I like to play with my foster dog friends. I was used to going on potty pads at my old home and do go outside, but my foster mom leaves pup pads out for me in case.
