Cooper came to CVPBR after he was left behind when his family moved out of the state. He is a very good boy who wants a family to call his forever. He is approximately 6years old and is likely a german-shepherd/husky mix--though his foster mom thinks he may also have Collie in his lineage somewhere. Cooper is fully house trained and knows most basic obedience commands. He is a bit of a velcro dog and just wants to be near his people. He is good with dogs and kids. He has been ok with the foster family's cats but he has a high prey drive and is a little too interested in the cats for comfort so a home without cats is probably best. With a family savvy on training dogs to be with cats he could possibly be ok. Cooper is very calm and waits for permission before getting onto furniture or into the car. He will make a great dog for a family or individual looking for a well-behaved companion dog. He would easily be an ideal first dog for someone.
